The entire Kailend Team would like acknowledge and to say a massive thank you to our dear friends at Sal's Shoes for their generous donation of all-black smart school shoes that were distributed to children in orphanages and former street children reintegrated into family homes. A Better World: Hope From Africa is a collection of poems featuring Kailend’s Executive Director, Samuel Sarr, and other members of the inaugural Obama Foundation African Leaders Program. The book contains 37 poems representing 15 African countries, reflecting the thoughts, challenges, hopes and dreams for a better world.
